Feature Management for DevOps
At our September meeting of Test in Production, our own Tim Wong—LaunchDarkly's Principle TAM and Chief of Staff—gave a talk about Feature Management for DevOps. “You can get to a point where you are pushing configuration based on routes or other aspects of your instance. This is kind of poor man's tracing in some ways or you can degrade functionality based on a particular route or a particular IP or a particular node set, particular method, particular account. You can provide different configuration sets for different types of things as long as you instrument them that way.” Watch Tim’s talk to learn more about ways you can manage operational risks with feature flagging.
